Founded by best-selling children’s book author, Natasha Tarpley, and her mother, former educator and state government administrator, Marlene Tarpley, Voonderbar! is an independent multicultural children’s media company. With a goal of increasing and diversifying mainstream representation of kids of color, as well as others who don’t quite fit the “mold”, our products establish connections among people, be they across cultures or across cliques, through the telling of great stories. We seek to celebrate difference, while emphasizing our fundamental commonalities as human beings.
